Osman Bilgin
Founder
Osman Bilgin is a co-founder of FLAGSHIP and will focus primarily on administration/management.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the shipping industry. A graduate of the Maritime Faculty in Izmir, he started his shipping career in the same ship agency company together with Kaan Polat.
He pursued his career in the ship supply industry and has been an entrepreneur and founder of various successful companies. Besides holding positions in non-governmental organizations and shipping related associations, he is also the founder and chairman of ‘ The Mare Group’.
Kaan Polat
Founder & Managing Director
Kaan Polat is a co-founder of FLAGSHIP and will focus on management/operations and business development.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the shipping industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He started his career in the shipping industry after military service in the Turkish Coast Guard. During his previous employment, Kaan managed a dedicated ship agency team who have increased their client base on an annual basis, despite the general downturn in the shipping market. Kaan has been a res. Board Member of ‘The Maritime Association of Shipowners and Agents’ in Istanbul and has established strong connections with both the local and international shipping world, at all levels.

Ahmet Topbas
Agency Manager
Ahmet Topbas will be responsible for the overall agency operations at FLAGSHIP.
He has a BSc degree in naval architecture and marine engineering. He has been working in the ship agency industry for about 10 years. He has a widespread background within shipping, having worked within shiprepair/chartering and operations. Prior to joining FLAGSHIP, Ahmet was the head of operations of a successful ship agency team.

Tamer Kurtulus
Agency Operation Manager
Tamer Kurtulus will supervise agency operations at FLAGSHIP.
He has a bachelor of science degree in naval architecture and marine engineering. He worked within the ship agency industry after his internship in a shiprepair yard. He has been a key member of the same ship agency company for about 7 years.

Richard Armago
Coordinator / Greek Representative
Richard Armago has more than 30 years experience in the shipping industry. He is a fountain of information on the local ship agency business and an expert on the Greek market. His focus will mainly be the Greek shipowners/managers and coordination of local offices in all Turkish Ports.
